Lunchtime Funnies

We had Sloppy Joe's for Father's Day at Mom & Dad's house. Thomas got his first taste and loved it. He called it "sloppy". We brought some leftovers home and I broke it out today for lunch. I told Thomas to come get his Sloppy Joe. He came running and screaming, "Sloppy Joey! Sloppy Joey!" Couldn't stop laughing. Not sure where he got the Joey part from.

Thomas takes big bites. Well, that is an understatement. He takes gigantic bites. When he gets ready to take a bite, he first has to announce that he's going to take a big bite of whatever you're holding. Today it was, "Big bite, Sloppy Joey." He leans in, opens wide, wiggles his head trying to get more into his mouth before he chomps down and makes a chomping/growling noise. He pulls away with a big grin and announces again, with a full mouth this time, "Big bite, Sloppy Joey! Mmmm! Licious!"
